Banana Bites

May 8, 2012

Last weekend I was inspired to get off my bum and actually make something from pinterest. Inspired by this pin I realized I had all the ingredients and an evening of free time – so what was stopping me? These banana bites are super yummy (with the flavor trifecta of banana, chocolate and peanut butter how could they not be?) and super easy.

Steps:

  1. Cut banana
  2. Spread with creamy style peanut butter (It is a bit difficult to spread the peanut butter on the banana slices but the trick is to not overly fuss with it)
  3. Melt chocolate (I did this over the stove with a make shift double broiler and added a splash of milk)
  4. Drizzle
banana pieces with chocolate (I globbed it on then gently shook the
banana bite back and forth to force the chocolate to even out and coat
    the sides)
  5. Put in the freezer for an hour.
  6. Enjoy!
