Kids playgrounds. It’s summer and if you haven’t been to a playground in a while, you should take a picnic because they can be pretty awesome. While I may be too big to enjoy 99% of the toys (I can’t pass up a good swing) the transformation they’ve gone through in the past few years is amazing. I’m sorry but when I was little we did not have so much cool stuff.

Hatch my House (found via Cup of Jo) looks pretty perfect for me right now. While we already have our down payment there’s a MILLION little project that require attention, like sanding floors and replacing our bathroom. I feel a little odd signing up for it because we’re not getting married – however I AM expecting home depot gift cards here on out for any present giving occassion.

I’ve been salivating over this comfy looking West Elm sofa and this pretty Anthro rug. A bit over my tiny budget, but a girl can dream.

Once I have my own kitchen I am super excited to start cooking and try freezer meals. Once a Month Mom looks like a great resource – I love that she has a variety of menus and tons of posts for the once a month virgin.

Playgrounds are the best! You're right though – there was never that much cool stuff there until a few years ago! Thankfully, I don't mind being a big kid and still putting all the equipment to good use 😛 Rhi 🙂 xx

HELLO

Decor and home with a little bit of daydreaming and real life sprinked in. My husband and I are slowly updating our 1900 Dutch Colonial. I love hunting for vintage and flying the pacific northwest and the world with my aviator husband.
