Friday Favorites – table manners and odd compliments

November 16, 2012

Did you know that salt and pepper should always be passed together? Or that there’s a propper way to sit in your chair for dinner? Joanna at A Cup of Jo will get you schooled for the upcoming holiday dinner with this cute illustrated guide.

“You’re smarter than Google and Mary Poppins combined” and other odd compliments that will make you smile and giggle.

This NY times article sparked me to give away half of my (hardly ever worn) jewelry collection and fill three bags of clothes to donate. I think if we all sat down and thought about it, we’d agree that we all probably have too much stuff.

This Kate Spade Iphone wristlet is going on my wishlist – it’d be perfect for those nights that you want to carry little and your outfit lacks pockets.

I need to decide on my holiday wrapping. I usually lean towards brown craft paper with a twist – but this pom-pom paper is quite a bit more exciting!
