Wallpapered Entry

June 5, 2013

We have a wonderful, defined entry, perfect for a little table, coat rack and chair. And I have been a little obsessed with the idea of wallpapering the entire thing. In my opinion the entry is the perfect place to make a statement with wallpaper. It’s a small space, and wallpaper is a big expense, so it’s one of the few areas I know that we can afford to do. Because it’s small, if the paper becomes outdated in a few years, we won’t be faced with the daunting task of removing it from the entire house. I’ve found a few department store cast offs that I’ve brought home for cheap with the idea of using it in the entry way, but the impulse left me without measurements, and in the end, not enough wallpaper. So for now, I’m still gazing at inspiration pictures, and let’s be honest, with our to-do list, wallpaper is about four feet under – but it’s on there.

These are all so pretty! I especially love that first photo with the bird wallpaper. This gives me more inspiration to decorate my apartment 😀

The light in the second picture is awesome! I also like the birdcage one in the first pic…

HELLO

Decor and home with a little bit of daydreaming and real life sprinked in. My husband and I are slowly updating our 1900 Dutch Colonial. I love hunting for vintage and flying the pacific northwest and the world with my aviator husband.
