Stencil me smitten

February 8, 2012

Stencil projects have been popping up everywhere – I want to go on record saying I think they are fabulous. Whether it’s a ceiling (here and here), wall or floor they can make a huge impact with little money. My bedroom has been waiting for the floors to be done since we’ve moved in – and I think if we ever get around to it this is definitely the way to go! They can offer a splash of color, a feeling of lace or geometric awesomeness. Have you ever stenciled?  I hear it’s a lot of work, but well worth the effort.

Oh wow – these examples are amazing. I saw a floor stenciling project on Young House Love and thought it looked cool, but I adore these. It looks like this cool rug on the wood panels…

    Love your blog!

Ps – I'm an Oregon girl who just moved to Denver, so I love finding NW bloggers 🙂
